Banana Ice-cream
Monet's favorite treat at Christmas

2 cups milk

2 cups heavy cream

2 eggs

1-1/2 cups sugar

¼ tsp salt

1 cup sliced banana

2 tbs Calvados Brandy

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

In a sauce pan, combine the milk, cream, eggs, sugar and salt.

Simmer over a low heat until the mixture thickens and can coat the back of a spoon.

Refrigerate the mixture until cool.

Combine the cooled custard with the banana, vanilla, and Calvados.

Pour mixture into an ice-cream machine and follow the machine instructions.
