One of the world's greatest film actresses, Meryl Streep has won two Academy Awards after 14 well-deserved Oscar nominations. Ms. Streep's commitment to her craft is matched by her personal commitment to her global efforts. Whether it is championing a safe and healthy environment with a natural food source, or the arts, which ultimately support the mind and the soul, Meryl is there and ready to lend her support.
In the year 2000, Ms. Streep was given the prestigious Officer des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government. Meryl's mother, Mary Streep, who passed away in September of 2001, was very fond of Musée Claude Monet. The Producers wish to thank Meryl Streep for graciously doing the opening narration for "Monet's Palate" and we do so with the fond memory of her mother in mind. |
